same smtp configuration in the cloud and local version, but the java action fails when I try to trigger it in the local version

I am trying to test something in the local version of the app, and realized that the same smtp configuration with the same username and password seems to be failing in the local version. However, the version in the cloud can send emails successfully. What can I look into to understand what is going wrong?
