I am using the LDAP Sync module V 7.3.0. I want to authenticate against a AD by checking if the loged on user is a member of a group. When loggin in, the console reports 'Importing users by group’. Failed to import user '….', skipping.. So in my view the specified group was found, but importing fails. Is my conclusion correct? Calypso on Parallels not working properly
Hi there, My dev environment is Parallels on a Mac and I am running a project in Mendix 8.7 with Calypso and Visual Studio Code installed on the Windows machine. Now have I followed the instruction https://docs.mendix.com/howto/front-end/calypso and running the app locally, but the styling is not changed on the fly. So I don’t see the changed in the main.css nor do I see the changes in the browser. While Calypso is mentioning changes in the files: File styles\web\sass\app\_custom-variables.scss has changed. Injected _custom-variables.scss in the browser. Anyone bumped into this problem as well? And how did you solved it? Kind regard.

Error after migrating Mendix app with Oracle DB to Mendix 7
Hello everyone, I'm currently encountering an error when I try to deploy a new version of my app to the acceptance environment. Our setup is as follows: One Mendix app with two licenced environments (acceptance and production) that are both deployed on a on premises server. Both environment are configured with an Oracle database which is running on a different server in the same network. The version for the oracle database is: Oracle Database 12c Standard Edition Release 12.1.0.2.0 - 64bit Production. The current app is running in Mendix 6.10.4 and I would like to upgrade to Mendix 7.23.12. During this migration, I also fixed all of the warnings and deprecations which included many usages of floats and/or currencies. After I deploy to the acceptance environment I get the following error (with Dutch description): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-54032: De te hernoemen kolom wordt gebruikt in een uitdrukking van een virtuele kolom. The error is caused by this query: ALTER TABLE "DWH$BESTELLINGGOEDERENREGEL2" RENAME COLUMN "BESTELLINGAANTAL" TO "AB4804C88A344B7594EC8FDE2F7A80" If I look at the entity in the domain model, I see that one exists (without the “2” suffix) with the attribute “BestellingAantal”. This attribute was a float before which has been converted to a decimal. I'm mentioning this because I think it might be related. I googled the error “ORA- 54032”, but other than some posts that mention that Oracle is creating hidden tables I'm not making any progress. Pluggable widget constructor called 2nd time
Hi, I am working on a pluggable widget wich uses a non-persistent object from context as a page parameter. The widget gets some attributes passed by the object as props. The issue is that, the first time the widget gets opened by a user, it renders, and then on the first client action(button click) the gets called again, and the widget gets rerendered fully again. Once that 2 time the constructor is called, it doesn’t happen again. Even after navigating away from the page, and going back, all works fine from the first click. I don’t think the problem is in my constructor itself since it is only taking the props and declaring the initial state

Help much appreciated for issue 'Failed to execute 'insertBefore' on 'Node'
Hi, After we've upgraded an application from 7.15.1 to 7.23.8, we get a strange error when trying to change the value of an attribute. This happens with a button, which you click, which then triggers a microflow that will change the value of said attribute. This seemed to go well in 7.15.1 but now we get the following error:

Hi, I just converted to modeler 5.13. Deployed to the sandbox (or even in local mode) and getting "no constructor found for widget xxxxx. where xxxxx is any widget used in my app. any ideas? Thanks Frank

Dowloaded modules from store not shown.
I tried to download modules from the store in Mendix. After the download which has worked successfully the modules are not available. Where can i find them? They are not under App Store Modules.

No constructor found for widget
Within a new application I have Running on Acceptance, it seems that all my widgets in Mx5 are corrupt. Every widget on my anonymous login page (Static Image and Login Widget), all give me the same error "No constructor found for widget". I've never experienced this within my local environment, neither on another application (although this is the first Mx5 app i Run in the Standard Cloud). Anyone having experienced this as well?

SAML_SSO Error
I have implemented SAML_SSO for one of our apps. After succesfully running it on the acceptance environment, I deployed it on production. Allthough users can succesfully log in via SSO, the log shows the error message below every minute. On the acceptance environment no such error is shown. Implementations are identical. Any idea what this message could cause?

grid witdh vs weight
I noticed that the learning path “become a rapid developer” refers to the amount of columns in a grid as the weight, but the docs refer to it as width. I was wondering if this was on purpose and if so what the difference is. Not a high priority question of course, I was just curious.

Unit Conversion using dropdown list
Hi, I have attribute Value and I need to convert this Value attribute into difference Units based on unit selection. By default, Value=2 and Original Unit=PSI1 as shown in below image Now, When I select Unit=PSI2 then my converted value should be Value=2 ( PSI2 means original i. e. Value*2) as shown in below image : Now, When I select Unit=PSI3 then my converted value should be Value=6 (PSI2 means Original value i.e Value*3) But I got wrong output means it consider previous converted value not my original entered value i. e. 2 as shown in below image : At the end when I select Unit=PSI1 then Value should be set to original value i. e. Value=2, but I think I missed something in my microflow. For me it consider Value attribute with new updated value. Mendix Theme not compatible with Mendix 8.6.0
When I import my company’s theme as a UI Resource module to a Mendix 8.6+ project the autofill layout grid width automatically changes to -1. I tried creating a version of the theme for Mendix version 8.6.0, but this didn’t fix the issue. I also tried a different UI Resource and was met with the same problem. Any suggestions?

Assignment Workflow
Newbie here with first Mendix app. I am working on creating an app that creates request packet for procurement. This request packet gets created by a user with a role of “Requestor” and after providing some information, this packet moves to another user with a different role “procurement officer”. Who then reviews and provides applicable information. Then this packet moves to “Legal Officer” who will review it for legalilty and add any legal information (such as uploading company policy document). And then this packet moves to “Approver” who then provides final approval. So far I have created wizard with 6 steps in order to create this request packet and have implemented document upload feature as well. I am now at point where I need to assign this packet to the next user (i.e. procurement officer) who can then take over and move it forward. Below is my setup: - Created RequestPacket entity various attributes like name, title, cost, ownername, assignedto, etc. - Created Item entity where the item(s) being requested are stored. - Created Member entity (specialization of Administration.Account) where the users are stored and new user registration creates users. - Created AssignedTo entity ((specialization of Administration.Account) so when the request packet gets assigned, it can be updated. - All of them have 1 – * association with RequestPacket with RequestPacket being the owner I need to be able to do the following: - Assign the RequestPacket to different users during its life until final approval - Show dashboard for each user based on the role. For example, Requestor should be able to see his packets and see who it is assigned to and the current status. Other users (i.e. Legal Officer) should be able to see the packets assigned to them and edit them. etc Please note that I have basic skeleton of this working where I can move request packet through all those steps but getting stuck at assigning them to another user and updating the assignment information. Can you suggest on Domain Model layout so I can verify my layout and also how to implement this workflow? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Add Columns to your app: Rapid Developer (Developer) academy course Module 3.4
After adjusting columns to (col-sm-6) on module 3.4, when I switch to design mode, I still have one row for both tablet and phone layouts when it needs to be (4 rows 1 column) for phone and (2 rows 2 columns) for tablet. Could someone please help me see what I am missing in this step? I have retried it multiple times and still get the same result. Thank you very much.
