Hi all, I would like to upload file from mendix app, which my company use third party to store file. I use dropzone to upload file that is pretty cool. But it have to upload to system.FileDocument before upload. What is the best way or best practice for upload file from mendix ?

How can I crop the rectangular images into squares?
Hi I’m learning how to use mendix now and would like some help. In my app it is possible to add a photo for the user but it accepts images of different sizes and in the end it is a mess (image below). I'm looking for ways to crop these images to make them all square. I tried with the image viewer settings or using ImageCropper when uploading the photo but I couldn't get it to work. I also tried with CSS (object-fit and other methods) right in the image viewer but I was not successful. Tried it too with SASS but nothing again. I imagine that I must be doing something wrong. Is there any way or tool to facilitate this?

How to show a logarithmic graph in Mendix?
Got some data that is best displayed using a logarithmic scale. Similar to this depressing graph: Is there any way to get this in Mendix? Checked out https://mathenginetestapp-sandbox.mxapps.io, but they have no graphs. Checked out the Charts-widget of Mendix, but have seen no option for logarithmic y-axis.

Text widget - Unwanted automatic conversion from text to integer/long
Hi, I'm experiencing an automatic conversion of String values to an Integer or Long. The value is now shown as 9,5053E+14. It should have been shown as 950530000081693. Hi, I am try to create a form where one can assign a user to one area only, this is working but when i create a new user and assign the same area to a user it adds the area to new user and remove from older one. how should i process, so that there is only one area being assigned to a user and if all areas are assigned then error message must be given.

Questionnaire module layout issues
Hi all, Does anyone use the Questionnaire module? https://marketplace.mendix.com/link/component/234 I’ve imported it into my app and the layout is causing a lot of errors, example of one of the snippets, the layout grid expands out to the left a considerable way. When attempting to resolve these I end up deleting things that are hidden off to the far left. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Issues after upgrade.
I upgraded an application from 8.12.1 to 8.18.1 Mendix version. Although, I didn’t change a single logic, there are a few things related to sorting which is not working after the upgrade. I compared both the branch lines and was unable to find the logic breach (everything looks same). So, how should such issues be resolved?

ApplicationRootUrl not recognized from yml file and SAML configuration has issues
We configured SAML and when we want to make it active, it is giving error. Looking in to the Stack trace, it fails with a null pointer exception when it try to get ApplicationRootUrl. Although the ApplicationRootUrl is set properly in .yml file, application did not recognize. Any possible solution directions?

User Management Module
hello, I am using User Management module to create users and assign roles, primary table is “Account” (generalized from System.user), defined roles are “Employee” and “Manager”. I want to be able to assign Manager when I am creating a new user/account, The manager itself should have an account first with a Role as “Manager”. Create new account/user page looks like below, I want to add another dropdown just underneath the “User Role”. Could you please advise what is the best way to achieve it? Mendix Version: 8.18.1 or 2 or 3 Regards Johnson.
